Personal Data & Privacy Rights

Exercise your privacy rights and control your personal information

Clean Leads 365 works with business contact data—information about individuals in a professional context. For example, "Business Contact Information" typically includes a person's name, job title, employer, and business email or phone number. Such information is often publicly available or obtained from licensed data providers for B2B sales purposes.

Even though this data is for business use, some of it may be considered personal information under privacy laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We respect your privacy rights regarding any such information. Below is a summary of your privacy rights and how to exercise them.

Personal Data in a B2B Context

We aggregate and enrich business contact lists, which may include individual names, work emails, and job roles. In many cases, privacy laws treat purely commercial contact information differently than personal consumer data. For instance, state laws often exempt data used in a business or employment context. Nonetheless, we handle all data with care and provide mechanisms for individuals to manage their information.

    California Privacy Rights (CCPA) Overview

Under the CCPA, California residents have the following rights regarding their personal information (which may apply to your work contact info if it is linked to you as an individual):

    • Right to Know / Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you, and information about how we use it.
    • Right to Delete: You can request that we delete your personal information from our systems (subject to certain exceptions, e.g. legal obligations).
    • Right to Correct: You can request that we correct inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
    • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: You have the right to request that we do not sell your personal information. (We do not sell personal data anyway.)
    • No Retaliation: We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any privacy rights.
